[Air-L] Post-doctoral position open - Algofeed Project

The call for applications for the post-doctoral research fellow position
for the Algofeed project, focusing on recommendation algorithms on YouTube
and TikTok, is now open - (the project is led by Alessandro Gandini,
Massimo Airoldi, Gabriella Punziano and me, Alessandro Caliandro; detailed
information available below).


Some important information: a Ph.D. is not strictly necessary (master's
degree is sufficient); the fellowship is for one year; possibility of smart
working; Italian language proficiency is not essential; deadline by the end
of March, but it will most likely be extended to the end of April.

At the Department of Political and Social Sciences, University of Pavia we
are hiring a postdoctoral researcher with computational social science
skills to work for 12 months on the new PRIN project “Algofeed”, financed
by the Italian Ministry of University, with Alessandro Caliandro. The
project studies algorithmic recommendations on YouTube and TikTok. Other
research units involved in the project include the University of Milano,
led by Alessandro Gandini and Massimo Airoldi, and the University Federico
II of Naples, led by Gabriella Punziano.

Proficiency in Italian is preferable but NOT essential.
