[Air-L] Job posting: Contract Editor for MediaWell at SSRC

Hello,

The Social Science Research Council is currently seeking to hire an editor for the MediaWell platform. As part of the SSRC’s technology portfolio, MediaWell seeks to highlight the different streams of scholarship on the evolving relationship between
media, technology, and politics. Our work supports research and outreach that deepens the historical, cultural, and political contexts for understanding mis- and disinformation, with a particular focus on how power structures dynamically shape information.

The work will take place at the SSRC offices in Brooklyn, New York, though remote work is possible. This is a one-year, contract position with an hourly wage of $30/hr, not a staff position. Expected hours would be about 5-10 hours per week. Applicants will need to have legal status to work in the United States, as SSRC cannot sponsor visas for this position.
