The Department of Art History and Cultural Practices (AHCP) at the University of Manchester (UK) is looking to hire x3 permanent staff to expand a newly formed Digital Humanities, Media and Culture team at the university:

x1 Senior Lecturer in Digital Media and Culture (Teaching & Research)
x1 Lecturer in Digital Media and Culture (Teaching & Scholarship)
x1 Lecturer in Digital Humanities (T&R)

For the digital media posts, we are particularly interested in candidates with expertise in: race and digital technology, digital media and the environment.
For the digital humanities post, we are particularly interested in candidates with expertise in: computational humanities, NLP/text mining, and network analysis.

The successful candidates will be expected to contribute to the development, delivery and administration of teaching on new BA and MA programmes in Digital Media, Culture and Society. For the T&R posts, successful candidates will also be expected to conduct research and publish work that meets standards of international excellence and complements the research strengths of the Digital Humanities, Media and Culture team.
