Hello, all,

The Department of Communication at Clemson University invites applications
for a full-time lecturer and Associate Director of the Social Media
Listening Center. Responsibilities include teaching two classes per
semester, supervising student interns, and building community partnerships
both within and beyond Clemson University.

The appointment will begin July 1, 2024, renewable annually based on
performance. The successful candidate will teach courses in social media
analytics (i.e., introduction to social media applications and methods), as
well as other courses in their area of specialization.

Qualifications
Minimum qualifications for this position include an earned Ph.D. in
Communication or related field (ABD will be considered), as well as
experience of effective teaching at the college level.

Preferred candidates will also have experience working in industry (for
profit and/or nonprofit) and a commitment to community engagement as it
demonstrates Clemson’s land grant mission.
