[Air-L] Recommendations for graphic free software

Dear AoIR members,

I would like to inquire whether some of you know e have tried free
graphic design software able to replace -- with similar functions and
good results -- Adobe InDesign.

We are in the process of migrating our class labs to only free
software at our university and I would appreciate any recommendations
you have.
