Multiple MSc and PhD positions are available at the École de Technologie supérieure (ÉTS), University of Quebec, Montreal, Canada, in the area of immersive video transmission over 5G networks.

The ideal candidate should have a strong background in at least two of the following domains: immersive video, 5G, networking, virtualization, Machine Learning, and optimization. The candidate is expected to do short-term internships at a leading immersive video industrial partner.

Requirements for the PhD positions:

  *   A MSc degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline
  *   Excellent writing, communication and presentation skills in English
  *   Any publications related to the advertisement topic will be considered as a plus

Requirements for the MSc positions:

  *   A BSc degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline
  *   Excellent writing, communication and presentation skills in English
