[Air-L] Inquiry Regarding PhD Scholarship Opportunities (Field of Law & Technology)

Dear AirList Colleagues,

I trust this email finds you well. I am reaching out to the AirList
community as I seek opportunities for PhD scholarships in Law or Public
Policy.

Currently, I am a PhD candidate enrolled in a joint-degree program between
the University of Brasilia (UnB) and Vrije Universiteit Brussels (VUB),
focusing my research on the use of *regulatory sandboxes to promote
responsible AI innovation*. While I am self-funded and based in Brasilia, I
plan to relocate to Brussels in 2025 to continue the latter part of my PhD
studies. In anticipation of this move, I am exploring avenues for grants
and scholarships that could assist me during my time abroad.

While I am aware of the existing funding programs available at VUB, such as
FWO and Global Minds, I unfortunately do not meet the eligibility criteria
for these opportunities at this stage. Therefore, I am reaching out to the
AirList community to inquire whether there are alternative scholarship
options or resources that I might be eligible for, considering my research
focus and circumstances.

I believe the collective knowledge and experience within the AirList
community could provide valuable insights and recommendations in this
regard. Any guidance or information regarding potential scholarship
opportunities or avenues for financial support would be greatly appreciated
as I navigate this phase of my academic pursuit.
