[Air-L] Community libraries and digitization

Dear colleagues,

Many apologies for the totally vague nature of this request, but approximately a year or so ago, I remember reading an email on this list promoting and/or discussing a course(s) in public and community libraries providing digital services and product offerings for their communities. The emphasis may have been digital communities and the role of public libraries - or of public libraries being a part of digital communities.

From memory, the focus was on the strategic nature of this subject, rather than the purely technical aspects.

Is anyone able to assist with this imprecise request regarding the email sent?
