Academic boycotts are counterproductive and foolish.

AIR should remain nonpartisan and nonideological, to all extents possible. If, like the ASA and other organizations focused on science and objective understanding, it starts passing normative resolutions, it will alienate and lose members - and much faster than any such resolution would have any effect, if you imagine that anyone outside of AIR even cares what resolution on Gaza AIR adopts.
