The 18th ACM Conference on Recommender Systems. Bari, Italy, 14–18 October
2024

===============

GENERAL INFO

ACM RecSys is the premier venue for research on the foundations and
applications of recommendation technologies. ACM RecSys 2024 will continue
RecSys’ practice of connecting researchers, practitioners, and students to
exchange ideas, frame problems, and share solutions across a range of
specialties concerned with recommendation.

===============

CALL FOR TUTORIAL AND WORKSHOP PROPOSALS

We are pleased to invite you to contribute to RecSys 2024:

WORKSHOPS provide additional venues for discussing novel ideas as well as
recent results of research in progress. RecSys 2024 aims for a balanced
workshop program, that combines traditional and more interactive workshop
formats, and both full-day and half-day workshops.

TUTORIALS provide conference attendees, including early-career researchers
and researchers crossing over from related disciplines, with an opportunity
to learn about recommender system concepts and techniques. We expect
tutorial slots of either 90 or 180 minutes. We encourage hands-on tutorials
that combine theoretical concepts with practical exercises.

the field of recommender systems;

- the level of complementarity of the topic to the main conference;

- having a clear plan for attracting submissions, making the workshop
itself productive, and disseminating results. Evidence that this plan will
be successful;

- the experience of the organizers.

Tutorial proposals will be judged based on:

- the ability of the tutorial to contribute to strengthening the
foundations of recommender system research, or to broaden the field to look
at important new challenges and techniques;

- the experience and skill of the presenters;

- the value of any materials released with the tutorial for the community.

==============

IMPORTANT NOTES

Both researchers and industry practitioners are encouraged to submit
workshop and tutorial proposals.

You can contact the workshop chairs up to two weeks before the deadline for
feedback on your workshop ideas, especially concerning novel interactive
