What: Workshop on algorithmic reparation. This will be a collaborative effort between cross-disciplinary scholars, activists, and industry representatives to move beyond fairness in machine learning and algorithmic systems. The workshop builds on the foundations set forth in this paper, published last year in Big Data & Society https://journals.sagepub.com/doi/full/10.1177/20539517211044808

When: September 29-October 1, 2022

Where: University of Michigan, Ann Arbor

Who: Anyone working in, with, and around issues of data, AI, and ML justice
