Speaker:

*Zachary C. Steinert-Threlkeld* is an Assistant Professor of Public Policy
and Political Science at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA).
His research interests include comparative politics, social media and
subnational conflict. His research takes advantage of geolocated tweets,
simulations, location data, and images to understand individual-level
behaviour at a daily level. His work has appeared in *American Political
Science Review*, *PNAS*, *Political Analysis*, *Journal of Politics*,
and *World
Politics*.
